Cape May, NJ
After making our way down Delaware Bay we arrived at Utsch's Marina, the sun came out and it was one of the warmest days so far but the following day the winds blew 25-30 knots ALL day and it was one of our coldest days since leaving FL. The crazy weather continues.
This marina had a courtesy truck provided by AGLCA Harbor Hosts which we used to go get groceries. These Harbor Hosts never have done the Loop but were very interested in it and hoped one day they could do it. They owned a restaurant in town so they spent many hours there. They did come by to meet all the Loppers at docktails one night and brought freshly baked donuts for everyone and rushed back to work.
Docktails with other Loopers right in front of Second Wave.
Within walking distance from the marina were several seafood restaurants on the wharf and this fresh seafood market.
This guy is almost four feet long!
Below is a picture of a large and a jumbo crab.
Brent decided if he was going to try crabs this would be the place to get them. Below is the before pic.
This is the after pic! It took forever to make this big pile of waste with not too much meat but he was glad he tried them.
This was something we haven't seen before but it must be popular because the owner was busy working right inside this truck.
On the cold, blustery day we tried to make good use of our time indoors and so I used our new clippers and cut Brent's hair. Compared to all the years that I groomed Gracie, Brent's cut was super fast and easy.
