Leapfrogging tugs

Travelled 64 miles eastbound on the GICW today. Played leapfrog with tugs all day long. We now have all the correct language down when talking on the VHF to the tug captains.  All were very nice and helpful.  Most have a distinct Cajun accent and are fun to listen to.

Took 9 hours to reach our anchorage at Taylor Bayou. Got here about 4pm with enough daylight to navigate the narrow cut safely. We anchored for the FIRST TIME EVER but still aren't confident that it is set correctly. (Probably piled a lot of chain on top of the anchor.) Fortunately, winds are very light tonight.  We are sharing the anchorage with a sailing catamaran and a couple tugs.
